National Lutheran Schools Week
Updated March 1, 2007
This is a special week for our congregation and for our church body. We are convinced that our schools are great places to grow in life with our Savior Jesus Christ, with one another, and with all the individuals and families who help make this ministry possible.
In the Name of Jesus Christ and on behalf of all the children in our school, I thank you for your prayers, your support, and your participation in the spiritual, physical, emotional, and academic growth of all God’s children in our school. Together we are privileged to help develop their faith and life. It could not be done without the support and involvement of all of you.
We have a marvelous privilege and responsibility as a Lutheran, Christian congregation to help children develop the gifts and graces God gave them. They are the church today and church tomorrow. They are citizens of our nation and citizens of the kingdom of God. As one of several thousand Lutheran elementary, early childhood, and high schools, we want to do our best to helpthese children and young people grow in life with Christ in every possible way.Thank you for your partnership in this developing, growing, maturing process here at St. John Lutheran School. In the Name of Jesus, we thank you!
